Dehradun 12 Nov 2011 Pestle Weed College celebrated its 20th Founder’s Day on 12th and 13th November, with exuberance & enthusiasm. The Chief Guest of the Day Additional Director General (CID), Uttarakhand, Shri B.S. Sidhu applauded the fantastic show displayed by the young students and also felicitated the exceptional achievers for their outstanding efforts.

The 20th Founder’s Day of Pestle Weed College left its mark on the heart & soul of every beholder & participator. The Day started with inauguration of Annual School Exhibition which extensively covered all the disciplines & traits such as Science, Art & Craft, Geography, Economics, Clay Modeling, Drift Wood work, etc. All the visitors were highly impressed with the skills & ideas implemented both in presentation & execution.

In the morning Mrs Kiran Kashyap , Principal Children Academy, inaugurated the School Fete which had more than 30 stalls of various exciting games and delicious delicacies. Students from various institutes of Dehradun enjoyed the Fete thoroughly.

The Chief Guest of the Day Shri B.S. Sidhu, IPS, inaugurated the Annual Exhibition and appreciated the creative skill & presentation of the young & budding talents. He also felicitated the alumni & rewarded the students for excellence in distinguished fields.

The high light of the day Light & Sound Program “Bin Paani Sub Soon” directed by Mrs Samta Goel fascinated every one present on the occasion as it gave a clear message against deteriorating state of the most important substance, water. On the other hand the earnest prayer “May the God Good Lord Bless You” spread the message of love & tranquility. The Fabulous display of Jesus Christ Birth engrossed the mind of all spectators. The Dance of colourful holi made the audience spellbound by its remarkable presentation. Later there was an attractive presentation “Peacock Dance” which was a holistic performance of little angles.

Mr Jatin Sethi, Vice Principal Pestle Weed College, introduced the Chief Guest Shri B.S. Siddhu to the gathering and highlighted the accomplishment of this towering personality in various fields. He highlighted the achievements of the students in various activities held at Inter School Level, District level and State Level.

Mr Prem Kashyap, Principal Pestle Weed College formally proposed vote of thanks to the Chief Guest Shri B.S. Sidhu IPS, Board of Governors, Principals, Guests, Parents, Students, Media Persons and Staff. On the Occasion a large number of parents left the premises with full contentment and satisfaction.
