Canteen
      Students at Pestle Weed are required to wear school uniforms. This tradition contributes to a strong sense of unity at the School with an added benefit of having a neat, well-groomed student body.

Cuisine
     A comprehensive food program serves the boarding. Pestle Weed caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Continental, Indian and Chinese Meals are served under the supervision of an experienced dietician. Milk, Fresh Fruits and Vegetables form and integral part of the Menu, providing the students a balanced and nutritious diet.

  Health Care
    There is a well equipped Sick Bay manned by a Resident Doctor assisted by qualified Nurses to take care of ailing students. For illnesses of serious nature, Military and other modern multi speciality hospitals are available in Dehradun.
 
Cultural Activities
             Dance and Music form an important part of education at Pestle Weed. Besides regular training, Students are taken on trips to familiarize them with the Indian culture. Weekend and vacation trips to places of historical interest are also arranged. Students also gain first hand experience by volunteering at cultural events and celebrations.

The objective is to lay the foundation for students development into worthy and distinguished global citizens with essential grounding in the Indian culture.
Career Centre
It is one of the objective of the School to train its students to become citizens of strong character, high principles and sympathetic attitudes. The College actively encourages the students to choose a career for themselves. Graduating students are also offered Career Counseling Programs run by qualified professionals. In partnership with local businesses, Pestle Weed also arranges internships for students to gain valuable real world experience.
Functions
    Parents / Guardians are invited to Founder’s Day, Boxing Championship, Annual Sports and Prize Distribution Functions.
 
House System
             Students are placed in each of the following Houses under House Captains, Vice Captains and School Captains. Each House is led by a House Master / Mistress. There are regular Inter- House Competitions in Academics, Sports and Games, Painting, Debates, Dramatics, Dance and Music, and Scouts and Girl Guides, with a view to inculcate team spirit and a healthy spirit of competition.

Excursion Activities & Sports
Excursion Activities
         Dehra Dun, the gateway to the Himalayas, offers excellent opportunity for Mountaineering expeditions, treks, rafting, fishing and skiing. The school encourages students to participate in these activities during mid-term breaks and holidays. The school has Instituted Trophies and Awards for outstanding participants. Participation in First – Aid – Course of St John’s Ambulance Brigade and Royal Life Saving Society is also encouraged.

         It is compulsory for all students to join Scouts Cubs, Guides & Bulbuls, from Grade III onwards. The school has its own Scout and Guides Troops and Club- Packs affiliated to the Bharat Scouts and Guides.

Sports
        Pestle Weed offers extensive games and sports facilities for maintaining a balance with our rigorous academic program. These include a Modern Gym, Basketball courts, Badminton, Cricket,Football, Athletics, Rifle Shooting,Lawn Tennis, Hockey, Table Tennis, Tennis, Aerobics, Swimming, Golf, Water Polo, Horse Riding and Yoga.

        Inter-school games are also arranged to develop a sense of competition among students. The school also plans to offer sports exchange programs with International schools.
Voluntary Services
A spirit of social consciousness and service to our countrymen is instilled in the students. Voluntary Services is required and is stressed in the academic program. Students give two hours a week of their time in social Activities like Village Development, Literacy Programme, Working in houses for the physically challenged men and women.
